Gross Sexual Imposition | Sexual Assault Sexual Abuse of a Child or Ward
Corruption or Solicitation of a Minor | Exploitation of a Therapist
Sexual abuse and assault can happen to anyone. Sexual abuse and assault can have psychological, emotional, and physical effects on a survivor. Repercussions may include shock, pain, fear, humiliation, self-blame, depression and a diminished sense of self-worth. Psychological damage can be especially serious when the perpetrator is in a position of power and the victim is a minor, employee, nursing home resident, developmentally disabled person, student, parishioner, patient or client.
Those who perpetrate sexual abuse must be held accountable. There are legal options available to do just that.
Mr. Bliss has represented Alzheimer's patients and other vulnerable adults who have experienced sexual abuse and exploitation, as well as employees who have been abused in the workplace. We understand how difficult it is even to talk with someone about such abuse. Call us to discuss your situation, or that of a loved one, and we can discuss options. These calls are confidential.
We understand the sensitive nature of these crimes and will help
guide you through the process and stand up for what is right.
